Why Join?

If you care about the trails you ride on and want to see them improved, you should join. If you want to see more trails in the areas you ride, you should join. If you want access to other areas to ride in, you should join. The more members the DMBA has the better we are able to stand up for mountain bikers and our right to ride on public land.

Now, if you really value the work that we do - advocating on your behalf with the land managers; planning, building and maintaining the trails we love to ride; teaching, inspiring and engaging young mountain bikers and families; building the mountain biking community in Durham; and arranging events, rides, races, and road trips for you - then you could show your appreciation by becoming a Contributing Member this year for $50. Special recognition will be given to our contributing members, and you will know that you have made an extra effort to support the Voice and Spirit of Mountain Biking in Durham Region.

Who Should Join?

The DMBA isn’t only for mountain bikers who live in Durham Region, it is for mountain bikers who ride in Durham Region. If you ride trails in the Durham Region we want you as a member. If you’re a bike shop who has customers that ride in Durham Region we want you as a member. If you are a promoter who holds events in Durham Region we want you as a member. If you are a land owner or land manager who allows mountain biking on your land we want you as a member.
