On June 24th, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm the TRCA is having an open house at the Dagmar Ski Chalet. From the invitation:
Come out and:
- Learn about the management plan progress that the TRCA has achieved for the East Duffins Headwaters (Glen Major Forest and Walker Woods) and contribute your ideas.
- You will hear about the draft vision, values, goals and objectives, as well as the draft management zones for the property.
- Come listen to Allan McGillvray former curator of the Uxbridge Scott Museum, talk about the history of the Walker Woods area.
A formal 20-minute presentation will begin at 7:10 p.m., followed by an opportunity for discussion.
