Spring weather seems to have come very quickly this year. After work today I went to Durham Forest for a walk to check out trail conditions. Most of the snow and ice is off of the trails but they are still very wet. Some riders have been in but in places they have torn up the single track. Please stay off the trails until they are dry for riding. Riding on them too early has a negative impact, on both the trails and mountain biking’s public perception. Based on the conditions  that I saw today, and assuming fairly good weather. It is quite possible that the trails may be ready for riding by the Easter weekend. But again that is a guess.
