The longest day of the year has already passed! It’s time to get riding before the winter is here again. OK, the situation is not that dire, but that doesn’t mean you should be out riding as much as possible. We’ve got four great destinations lined up this month.

• July 4, Ravenshoe
• July 11, Hardwood Ski and Bike (formerly  Hardwood Hills)
• July 18, Durham Forest
• July 25, Glen Major (if you aren’t at the 8 hour)

We’ll be back at Ravenshoe to start the month. I like this location and am sorry I missed it last month. I hope those who went had a good time. Big Meaning here I come.

For those who’ve never been to Hardwood it is a not too miss destination. It $12.50 for a day pass, but this is well worth it. The trails are well marked and provide a good mix of difficulties. They weave on and off the main double track so if you get tired on Gnarly (or it’s just a bit above your skill level) you can jump onto Serious next time you touch the double track. If you are planning on attending the Hardwood trip please RSVP so that we can let them know how many to expect. We’re hoping to get a group rate if we can get enough people to come.
